18 Celtc Media Myth Busters

1. The 'Glasgow Celtc way' doesn't actually mean anything - we are told
that celtc love to play the fast free-flowing Barcelona-esqe version of
the game, but in reality that doesn't happen. Last season the celtic way
finished only 3 goals better off than Rangers with 5 more conceded than
Rangers. Thems the facts.
2. European home record for Celtic at Parkhead - 2 wins in the last 6
games at Parkhead, its hardly earth shattering.
3. Celtc's champions league away record (for Hugh Keevins and Liam) - no
this monkey has not been lifted of the celtc back, as qualifiers do not
count. Celtc still have the worst record of any team in the champions
league group stages (lucky they wont have to worry about making that
record worse this season).
4. The old firm shame game - is absolutely nothing to do with Rangers. The
only thing Rangers sis that day was win 3-0. Every bit of 'shame' that day
was caused by someone in the green and white.
5. Celtc-minded - this does not have anything to do with a particular
style of footballing ethos, it merely means he's a Roman Catholic from an
Irish background and he detests Rangers, why not print that, as it is the
truth.

plane full of celtc fans being redirected to Cardiff to be dealt with.
They also accounted for the highest number of football banning orders for

1. The 'Glasgow Celtc way' doesn't actually mean anything - we
are told that celtc love to play the fast free-flowing
Barcelona-esqe version of the game, but in reality that doesn't
happen. Last season the celtic way finished only 3 goals better
off than Rangers with 5 more conceded than Rangers. Thems the
facts. 2. European home record for Celtic at Parkhead - 2 wins in the
last 6 games at Parkhead, its hardly earth shattering.
3. Celtc's champions league away record (for Hugh Keevins and
Liam) - no this monkey has not been lifted of the celtc back, as
qualifiers do not count. Celtc still have the worst record of
any team in the champions league group stages (lucky they wont
have to worry about making that record worse this season).
4. The old firm shame game - is absolutely nothing to do with
Rangers. The only thing Rangers sis that day was win 3-0. Every
bit of 'shame' that day was caused by someone in the green and
white. 5. Celtc-minded - this does not have anything to do with a
particular style of footballing ethos, it merely means he's a
Roman Catholic from an Irish background and he detests Rangers,
why not print that, as it is the truth.
6. Decisions even themselves out during a season - again a total
myth. There's only one team in Scottish Football that ever
benefits from footballing mistakes. I'm still waiting for a
mistake against Celtc. 7. Scott Brown and Aiden McGeady - they are
not superstars. They
are decent players, but McGeady was in Hutton's pocket and ever
since Hutton has gone, Broadfoot and Whittaker (supposedly
limited players) haven't had a bit of trouble from McGeady - so
much so that he only started two old firm games last season.
8. Tony Mowbray - Candidate No.4 in line for the celtic managers
job - celtc never 'got their man'.
9. Paddy McCourt is not the new George Best
10. Despite winning the fifa fair play award in 2003 and their
fans being widely touted all over the mhedia for being all round
good guys, the celtc fans recorded the highest number of arrests
at a game in at Blackburn, had a mini riot in Vigo airport which
carried on into the air resulting in a plane full of celtc fans
being redirected to Cardiff to be dealt with. They also
accounted for the highest number of football banning orders for
that year, of any club who played in Britain....and that
includes the English clubs. 11 'Celtc are the flair team in the
SPL' I give you the Heid
Caldwell, McAnus, Broonaldo, Robson and a range of other headless
chickens
12 "There's nothing like CP on a European night". Ask Arsenal
and Man Utd fans what they think about it. More noise in a morgue
13 Rangers fans do not put on celtc tops and sit in their end to
cause trouble
14 Celtc went to Manchester and behaved themselves, sure they
did. Just ask any Man City fan about the stadium damage
15 I'd love to add you get a free man of the match award with
every debut for Celtc, regardless of performance. But that's not
actually a myth, just outright baffling.
16 Celtc are not the Vice Champions! They are 'also rans'.
17 They are the only team to have won the European Cup with 11
nationals. Wrong, they are one of four teams to do this along
with Real, Benfica and Steuea and they weren't the first.

To be fair only a couple of them are opinion and conjecture - the rest
are pretty much factual.

Correct, at least JB has had the balls to post a typical "yous are aw
