You guys fighting again tonight?
Andy Kerr, president of the Rangers Supporters Assembly, said it was a
"minor incident".
"There was a bit of pressure at the front. Spray was used, which was
used before the start of the match, and I think people reacted to
that," he told Sky Sports News.
"I wouldn't say the Rangers fans did anything wrong. The organisation
was very poor. [Before the match] they had two cordons of barriers to
let people through. They used the spray there on more than one
occasion and people were quite distressed by that.
"We don't condone it, we don't want to see it, but the vast majority
of people behaved impeccably.
"In the big scheme of things, [it's] a minor incident."

I'm sorry, just read that....you guys are unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!....

I'd have kept my words to myself if I was you on the eve of Celtic fans travelling to
Hamburg of all places.
I'm sure you'll find some way to pile the blame on 'The Hun' when the inevitable
scuffles over there happen.

...Or do Thursday games mean fewer travelling supporters? It IS a whole day after
Giro day after all.

Its hardly worth deflecting - its a minor incident.
My point is that I'd have kept schtum on the eve of a notorious stomping ground visit
for your own fans rather than score a minor point against "us guys" (after all we are
all the same and we were all in Romania).

And you weren't 'slated' - it was just an observation that was brought up ;0)

In other words your hoping it kicks off in Hamburg so Rangers dont look as
bad! There was no need at all to bring Celtics name into anything relating to
Rangers violence.Well games past and no trouble in the stadium so looks like
youll just have to accept it was Rangers "fans" playing up again.

Celtic have obvious ties with the St Pauli hooligans and there may well yet be bother
in the streets of Hamburg. I never 'hope' for any bother ... Ive heard some idiots
say that of England when they get to a major finals and we dont: "Aye well I hope
their hooligans cause some riots, that'll knock them down a peg or two and show
everyone what they're all about!" I mean WTF? That's just idiotic.

Im sure there will be small incidents of drunken stupidity as there are in
each town during any game, but nothing on the scale of last nights
violence. As i said, there was no other reason to bring celtic into it,it was
Rangers fans misbehaving and bringing Celtic into it is just hoping to
divert but has not happened.

A reasonably reliable web site is suggesting that Rangers fans were
singing "Can you hear the gypsies sing?" last night after Rangers
scored. Can anyone verify this?
