Celtic & Rangers don't have enough money to bribe enough people to make it

It would mean 6 big teams in the English league instead of 4 at present.
There are a lot of Celtic and Rangers supporters in England who would go to
away games, so for the smaller teams, there would be 6 full houses every
season instead of 4.

In terms of TV money, there would be 30 league matches between big teams
that everyone wants to watch instead of 12 English + 4 Old Firm at present.
That means you could have at least one match between top 6 sides every
week. And as before, you can add to that ManU/Man City, Liverpool/Everton,
Birmingham/Aston Villa, Arsenal|Chealsea/Tottenham|Fulham etc.
