I'm going to guess that they don't have PAYE because they work at the
barras - NOT because they are self employed millionaires who run their
businesses out of Jersey for the tax benefits.

"Work" Ahahahaha, that made me laugh!

assessment!?

Does the mint still have millions of assets?!...I could believe that
he has millions of debt...plus cash assets of two pence that youse are
going to spend next year on new players.... ;0)

"Murray's personal wealth has suffered in the recession of 2008/2009. The
Sunday Times Richlist 2010 valued his fortune at £110 million, 78% down on
the £500 million fortune he was estimated to have in the 2009 edition of the
richlist."

Sadly I doubt that gambling his whole £110M in a Scottish football team
would be worthwhile, our game's gone to the dogs a bit.

I thought his entire wealth was based his shares in Rangers? You mean
the once mighty Glasgow Rangers aren't worth £110m? How much are the
once mighty Rangers actually worth? 50 pence?!... ;)

Yeah by European standards, our games went rapidly down hill...

He owns Murray International Holdings, which has four companies, one of
which is Rangers. http://www.murray-international.co.uk/

I would guess that Premier Property Group is the one that has lost the most
money for him recently. Rangers, and every other football club in the
country except for ManU has never been worth anything as a business. It's
a trophy asset for people where a ferarri, a yacht or a tropical island
isn't enough.

Cheers for info JB...I know what you are saying....normal business
practices don't really apply for football clubs...

....well that's certainly until a football club can't find a new owner
for years since they are practically bankrupt and being run by the
banks....and to be sure, Rangers are a long long long way off all that
happending...or indeed Ibrox Stadium being owned by HM Revenue and
Customs in lui of taxes not paid....like you say JB, Rangers are a
"trophy asset"....

With "good" weeks like this for Rangers....who would want a bad one...;
