It's the persecution complex in its obvious manifestation.
Catholics, Irish and Jewish folk [in the perception of the world] share the
same belief that the world is against them and they are forever being
persecuted because of what they are. [I'm not saying anyone on here, but
when this theory is the butt of MANY jokes in mainstream entertainment, then
surely it is a perception with some legs to it.]
So if the guy had unique tattoos of -lets say- Nigerian Culture, this bozo
wouldn't have pulled you up saying "What's your problem with Nigerian
Culture, are you a racist?"
But because he feels some sort of brotherly kinship (not for me to say
whether it is Country, Religion or simply Football team) with this sick
pervert, then he feels that you are obviously trying to get one over on
'them' as a collective, instead of merely pointing out one of society's
