I remember a few seasons back, cant remember who it was though, but
some dim was frothing at the mouth about our 'Tangerine' strip
claiming that clubs are only supposed to play in their **official**
colours and 'Tangerine' wasnt one of our **official** colours. Now, i
wonder if the same person will be raging about that bumblebee strip
and buzzing about the place shouting about club colours again, doubt
it though.

And whats with the way the socks are posed? I believe that's probably the
way Messrs Boruc and McGaydy stand, but C'mon eh?!

be reminded of Celtics shameful IRA connotations as that story appears at

I'm only bringing that up because of the comments posted about the article -
what a bunch of wallopers!
How DARE anyone say anything against singing songs about the IRA?!?
CLEARLY the media is anti-Irish, anti-Catholic and anti-Celtic!

Get a load of this knob - you couldn't script a clearer "aye-but-youse"!

*quote*
Why the reference to the laws of the land ? None are being broken by singing
songs about the IRA.
I don't even think these break the laws/regulations of the SFA/SPL but they
will construe to punish Celtic at the same time as they eventually punish
Rangers for the law breaking of their support.

While it means nothing to me and I would rather it wasn't sung the BOTOB has
nothing to do with an organisation that killed hundreds of civilians in
cowardly bomb attacks.

Despite the "pro-IRA" songs not breaking the law Celtic have condemned them.
Rangers as yet have not condemned "the famine song" but we keep getting told
they're doing everything possible !

I await your outraged article on the Hearts supporters FTP banner which does
break the SPL ad UEFA rules.

I guess its maybe a sign of improvements when we each have to hark back to

Was that strip or a very similar one not used by Celtic a few years
back ?
Just another ploy to get more dosh out of football fans .

You'd rather affilliate yourself with the white protestant fraternity rather
than wear a particular colour?

Are Dims really this backward? Do you flick the V signs at the sun because
of its orange glow? Do you refuse to get on a bus if it has an orange poster
on the side?

OK here's another clue...when Blue says "our" Tangerine strip...who do
you think he's talking about? To summarize: it's Blue's team; posted
in the "Rangers" newsgroup; about a team that starts with R....you

As the late Bob Crampsey said the first time this thing came out: "The Great
Wall of China and the new Celtic away strip share the distinction of being
the only two man made objects visbile from space".

I'm split about it, tbh. On the Up Side, anyone wearing it is going to look
a proper fanny. On the Down Side, given your average Tim's belief that a
celtic top is appropriate travel and leisure wear, your eye is going to be
assaulted by the thing no matter where you go.

I do believe that they should be given to every child in the country though.
Scotland's appalling rate of child road traffic accidents would be cut at a
stroke.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Belter :-D
As the late Bob Crampsey said the first time this thing came out: "The
Great Wall of China and the new Celtic away strip share the distinction of
being the only two man made objects visbile from space".
I'm split about it, tbh. On the Up Side, anyone wearing it is going to
look a proper fanny. On the Down Side, given your average Tim's belief
that a celtic top is appropriate travel and leisure wear, your eye is
going to be assaulted by the thing no matter where you go.
I do believe that they should be given to every child in the country
though. Scotland's appalling rate of child road traffic accidents would be
cut at a stroke.
It's a belter! No doubt about it...
