All in all, an excellent day for Rangers.

1. Accounts - pretty much what was expected and shows that with some CL
money and a reduced wage bill we should be breaking even after that
2. UEFA - got out of jail there. Now, will somebody at the club finally do
something about the scum that attaches itself to Rangers.
3, Rejection from the EPL. Had we been accepted it would have been the death
of Rangers and Celtic since we would have had to invest hundreds of
millions - i.e gone hundreds of millions into debt - all to buy into a
business model that does not work. One day the whole pack of cards will come
down.

If, for example, Abramovitch gets bored and walks away but can't find a
buyer for Chelsea - then the other owners, realising that there ain't a
market for their clubs might get nervous and try to sell up. If that did
happen, then the toxic loans that are Chelsea, Manu, ManC, Liverpool and the
rest will cease to exist.

The day when Rangers and Celtic are once again the biggest teams in Britain
is not far away if you ask me.

Go on ask me.

I'm not sure what more the club can do to stop morons causing trouble at
away European games.

They could start by accepting only the number of tickets which are requested
by official supporters clubs and making sure the tickets are handed out to
the OSCs. If there is trouble, the troublemakers can be identified by the
local cctv or by the club stewards who should be accompanying the supporters
and then the club to which the troublemakers belong gets banned. This way
you encourage self-policing. Then when the scum get home, identify, name and
shame them.

There must also be a route for Rangers to take civil action against them.

I think we have passed the point of regulating for the 'what ifs'. There
can be no more trouble - end of story. All tickets must be allocated by
seat number and can only be picked up at Ibrox in person once a valid
passport is shown. This will be copied and held on file and can then be
accessed via PDA by stewards - paid for by the club - and cross-referenced
to ensure that those who picked up the tickets are those who present
themselves at the stadium. Anyone who has no ticket - or who has a ticket
not allocated to them will be set aside and transported the the airport by
Strathclyde Police (again, there at the club's expense).

The club cannot stop someone travelling to whatever country and causing
trouble though

True enough - but they can, if they want to, practically ensure that any
trouble there is, does not happen inside the stadium. Some good ideas there
by guitierrez, although to ensure success they would depend on a lot of
cooperation and organisation by the host club - and any host club would be
quite entitled to say, away and take a running fuck tae yerselves - we'll do
what we do for every other club, none of whom cause trouble.

Cut to the car chase - quite simply, the club has to be somewhere where the
dregs feel uncomfortable and that will take a huge amount of work. So far,
they haven't even seriously tried.

The morononic element will hardly feel worried especially given the fact
that personally invited guests of Rangers who brought shame on the club at
a closed doors Euro tie in Italy were never named and shamed.
