If you are going to troll you could at least learn the correct spelling and
usage of homophonic words. Not only did you use the wrong homophone, you
screwed up the spelling of it.

there: "over there" (locational)
they're: "they're going to troll" (contraction of they are)
their: "their trolls are worse than our trolls" (possessive)

I know, it shocks me to my core, as does your need to bring up a few songs
that were sung as you have nothing positive to look at in your own clubs
poor showings.
Apart from being beaten at home by moscow, your fans decided to scrap with
them, how unusual eh!
http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/scottish/scottish_news/431563/Russian-fan-gets-hit-by-a-brick-as-fans-clash-in-Glasgow.html

just the same as your last non friendly game which was also at the Piggery
which involved your fans once more attacking opposition supporters. Or then
the vile scum you lot call vans who attack people for selling poppies

I did indeed, I have to say Celtic did well, although that was probably due
to a really shit russian team who are doing shit in their own league.

However, you made it, well fucking done!

I did. Good result, decent performance, but the russians were
absolutely shite.

A few of my tim mates seem to, erm, "not know their history", since
they're all crowing about first ever away win in the CL. I'm convinced
you've won away qualifiers before, most famously a 1-3 win at Ajax,
which I thought most tims would remember?

My mates don't seem too clued up on the present either, since a lot of
them thought they were in the group stages after beating Moscow....

What's the possible list of teams you can get next round?

Thanks, kind of...I thought it was an outstanding game. Great result
and none too shabby a performance either. N'Guémo was good and Fortune
put himself about too. Two excellent goals as well.

For me, it's the same kind of record as knowing how many corner kicks
Celtic have won in the Champions League...fairly incidental. We could
have won the game last night 1-0, but still gone out in pens...

...but you may be right about Ajax.

Yep Marco, I had the same problem at work. They defeated Ajax 3 - 1 away
from home in the qualifiers not long before Arveladze signed for us. That
wee dude they signed from Hibs ran riot down the wing if I remember
correctly. Maybe that was their last away win though. As for them getting
into the group stages after defeating Dynamo, well, lets just say it was
great watching their wee faces when they leant that they still had another
round to go. Brilliant, talk about bubbles being burst. It fair made my day
I can tell you.

LOL! We haven't won away in the Champions League group stages. But we've won
away in the Champions League qualifying round to get to the group stages.
Technically, it's the Champions League....also Rangers web page seems to
indicate that its the qualifiers "of" the Champions League rather than "for"
the Champions League a subtle but crucial difference...and another
opportunity to roll out your result again Kaunas... ;)

Turns out it's not Ajax that was the last away win for Celtic in the
"Champions League" anyway. It was MTK Hungaria...

Why are you checking out what the Rangers web site has to say about it,
wouldn't you be better checking out the Uefa on instead since its them that
govern the competition. In the Champions League **PROPER** Celtic have not
won away from home yet, that a fact that really bugs you lot. As for
claiming that the qualifiers ARE the Champions league, well that's you just
clutching at straws no mate, clutching at straws

Turns out it's not Ajax that was the last away win for Celtic in the

Who ?

Now fuck off with your pathetic stories and why don't you try
commenting on
your shit team with the new really shit singings,
I thought Celtic played well tonight in Moscow. We don't get them very
often but tonight was a very satisfying away victory in the champions
league... ;)
Did you catch the game Blue1873?
I did.  Good result, decent performance, but the russians were
absolutely shite.
A few of my tim mates seem to, erm, "not know their history", since
they're all crowing about first ever away win in the CL.
The thing is, it wasn't the Champions League, it was only the qualifiers
and therefore doesn't count. They still haven't won away in the CL yet
LOL! We haven't won away in the Champions League group stages. But we've
won away in the Champions League qualifying round to get to the group
stages.
No one is disputing that
Great!

Technically, it's the Champions League....
No, technically its the qualifying rounds to get in to the Champions League.
...if I say one thing and then you say another...it's not technically
a debate...just an expression of different views...I think this is a
subject in which reasonable people can have different views...or as
they say, somewhat inarticulately, on Clyde..."it's all about
opinions"...

also Rangers web page seems to indicate that its the qualifiers "of" the
Champions League rather than "for" the Champions League a subtle but
crucial difference.
I was checking the Rangers web site since I thought you'd be more
likely to believe what the headhun's page says...they are suggesting
it's qualifiers "of" the Champions League...as in belonging to the
Champions League...being part of the Champions League...being in the
Champions League...

...and another opportunity to roll out your result again Kaunas... ;)
Which was nowhere near as embarrassing as your result against Artmedia, but
I guess you don't want to talk about that.
We can talk about what happened in Europe under the pervious Celtic
manager if you want...wasn't the current Rangers coach in charge for
Kaunas...? ;)

Yes, belonging to the set up but not actually in the main event. For
example, a team from the Championship being in the play-offs at the end of
the season is not classed as being in the Premiership, they are classed as
still competing for the big prize of qualifying to PLAY in the Premier
League. Same goes for the Champions League Qualifiers. The Group Stages are
the main event, not the qualifiers or play offs
Post by liam67
being part of the Champions League...being in the Champions League...
Being part of something doesn't mean your in it.
Do you actually know what **League** means, as in Champions League ?
Hears a hint 'Its not a match played over two legs with aggregate scores
coming into play, its actually a group of more than two teams playing each
other to gain the most points possible'
Do you understand what **Qualifying** actually means, as in Third Qualifying
Round ?
Here's a hint 'It is a match played over two legs with aggregate scores
coming into play, it is not actually a group of more than two teams playing
each other to gain the most points'
And finally do you understand what **Play Offs** are ?
Here's a hint 'They are not a League, there are no points amassed for
winning or drawing'

So it should be quite clear, even to you Liam, that Celtic are not in the
Champions League Group Stages yet,
your team still haven't won an away match in the Champions League Group
Stages,
your still clutching at straws an you know it.
But hey, if it helps you ignore your teams abysmal away record in the
Champions League Group Stages then who am I to keep pointing it out to you.
